Order Hasn’t Arrived Yet?

Our books and maps are shipped by USPS First Class or Priority Mail. Delivery for in-stock items typically takes 2-7 business days for orders within the United States and 1-3 weeks for international orders.

If your order includes both books and wall maps they may be shipped in separate packages. Books are shipped in a small box or padded envelope and wall maps are shipped rolled up inside a protective cardboard shipping tube.

If your order includes back-ordered items those items will be shipped separately once we get them in stock.

If your order has not arrived contact us and we’ll check on it for you:

Include the following information with your message:

  • Full name as it appears on your order
  • Date your order was placed
  • Transaction ID#
  • Shipping Address

Need To Download Digital Items?

If your order includes digital items (like eBooks, PDF reports or GPS waypoints) you will receive an email containing the download link immediately after completing your order. Click the link inside that email to download your digital items.

If you do not see the email check your “spam” or “bulk” email folder in case it was diverted there by your email provider. If you have multiple email accounts make sure you check the one you entered when placing your order.

If you still do not receive the email after 30 minutes contact us and we’ll resend you the download link.

Wrong Item Received?

If the item you received is not what you ordered please let us know and we will exchange it for the correct item:

Include the following information with your message:

  • Full name as it appears on your order
  • Date your order was placed
  • Transaction ID#
  • Shipping Address
  • Which item is not correct

Our Return Policy

All of our books and maps are covered by a 60 Day Satisfaction Guarantee beginning on the date of delivery. Digital items (GPS Waypoints, PDFs, eBooks) are non-refundable.

To return an item for a refund send it by US Postal Service to this address:

Include the following information on a slip of paper with your package:

  • Reason why you are returning
  • Full name as it appears on your order
  • Date your order was placed
  • Email address as it appears on your order

No returns will be accepted later than 60 days from the date of delivery.

We can not do exchanges unless the item you received is damaged or different from what you ordered. If you wish to exchange an item you may return it for a refund and then place a new order online.

Shipping and handling will not be refunded unless the return is the result of our error.

Accepted Payment Methods

Blackwoods Press uses Paypal.com to process orders securely online. We accept Paypal, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express and eCheck. A Paypal account is not required to to order online. To check out as a guest click the link that says “Don’t Have A Paypal Account?” on the payment page when you check out.

If you prefer, you can pay by check or money order. Write down what you would like to order on a slip of paper and and mail it along with your payment to:

Remember to include shipping and handling fees (and 8% sales tax if you live in California). You can use our online shopping cart to calculate your order total before writing your check.

We do not have the ability to process credit card orders by phone or email.
